SupplySub assemblies, manufactured in Jigs, Units fully assembled and tag welded dimensionally checked and then fully welded.
All lifting lugs are 100% MPI (Magnetic Partical Inspected) twice during the production sequence. At least 20% of the primary structure is also MPI’d, to ensure all welds are safe and crack/fracture free. After welding, all units are given a total 100% visual inspection by a qualified welding inspector to ensure welds are correctly positioned ensuring total build safety.
All welders are coded and are qualified to ENISO 15614/1 and M101 standards.
These welders are assessed annually by Lloyds Register to ensure standards are upheld.
The welding inspectors are qualified to: SNT-TC-1A (2001) Non Destructive Testing to level 2.
We ensure specific operations are carried out by suitably qualified personnel, for example the lifting lugs are welded as standard to EN287/ISO 9606. This is the maximum standard required by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), who set the standards for the industry in Offshore Containers.
All the finished containers are cleaned by shotblasted using ‘Sintered
Steel Shot’ to cleanliness level SA21/5 to international standard BS EN ISO 8501-1:2007. This ensures a good surface profiling giving it a suitable ‘key’ for the paint coating. This is a standard required for these types of fabrication as set out by DET as well as customer requirements when paint coatings are requested.
Fitting out may be varied to customer specifications, but can include, Freezer Units, Workshops, Stores, Compactor Unit and a wide variety of other uses and applications as may be required by the client.
